Stock Gearing ZX-14 and Busa

Stock front/rear sprockets on the ZX-14 is 17/41 and 18/43 for the Busa, right?

Are those ratios about equal, or is one lower/taller than the other?

Trying to understand sprockets and transmission ratios...

It's pretty simple.
Take the number of teeth on the rear and divide that by the number of teeth on the front.

ZX-14: 41/17 = 2.41
Busa: 43/18 = 2.39

Very close to the same.

Keep in mind that this is the final drive ratio only and does not take into account the internal ratios..............

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
