Oil filter choices...
I have searched and searched....maybe I am just looking for the wrong thing.
I am trying to find what oil filters can be used for the 07 ZX-14.....I can go to Autozone and find a filter that works perfect for my CBR 600rr.....but I don't know what filter fits on the ZX-14...I hate having to ride 20 miles to the nearest dealer to get an oil filter for 9 bucks.
Anyone got any info for me?

Be careful. The Purolator fits, but it is not what you want. You want the Purolator Pure 1 14610 or 14612. Both fit, one is longer than the other. The Pure 1 has much better filtration than the purolator, and they both have the same part number.

I use K&n, I order them direct ffrom them so no drive involved just a few bucks for shipping. The great thing about the k&n is there is a 17mm nut welded to the filter so removal is a breeeeze.

Order the OE Kawi filters online and save some coin. My 800+ HP race-ready Lightning uses a Motocraft Ford-OE filter; you can't go wrong with the manufacturers' oil or filters ever in my experience.

I use the Purolator pureone filter on the 14 and used it on my previous bikes,no problems, there is a oil filter comparision going around somewhere where they cut them apart and compared the filter media inside, purolator pure one rated real good, OEM filters where marginal at best, those aluminum reusable filters where rated crap.

Solvent tank or brake clean will work as well, I never have ran one on my bikes but used the reusable on my drag cars for years.
