Why is it different???
On a ZX14 the front and rear axles are inserted into the fork and swingarm from the clutch side of the bike...
But, on the ZX10 and ZX6 the axles are inserted from the throttle side of the bike!!!
Why did Kawasaki do that???

If you check, its the other way round on the other side of the planet. It has to do with the spinning of the earth and the weight of the bike......Really!!!!

Actually the front axle on the zx14 is inserted from the throttle side and the rear axle from the clutch side. If your front axle is inserted from the left side someone either when having the wheel off decided to switch it around or the dealer installed it that way when new, thus the next tech removing the wheel just put it back the way it was and didn't know it was incorrect. Manufacturers and designers do their best to make the motorcycle, mechanic friendly, hence having ones tools on one side of the bike when trying to perform certain operations rather than walking in circles. Front axle hex bit and socket for rear axle on the throttle side of the zx14. You have to do it everyday for a living to understand and appreciate as well as hate why the motorcycles are built and designed the way they are.
