Micro DVR

My camcorder kept cutting off while I was trying to film a ride, even with it in a carrying bag on my hip. Anyways, I got me a Micro DVR to record with now. I was wanting to attach it to the bike, perhaps around the guage cluster somewhere so I can just hit record while I'm riding. I was gonna make a bracket to hold it in place. Just wondering if the bikes vibration would affect it in any way? I'd hate to go through all that trouble of mounting it just to find out I'd be better off putting it in my jacket pocket or something.

You might want to consider a helmet mount ?

Naw, I've got the bullet camera mounted on the bike. Mounting it on the helmet would be too jumpy I think. All the video's I've seen like that were.

I have a friend that uses a mounting bracket with 4 super thick and stiff rubber bands to actually hold the camera it is pretty neat he made it himself I will see if I can get up with him in the next few days and get some pics

I got everything mounted. I made a bracket for the micro DVR that bolts to the front tank cover bolt. I tested it out and everything works great! I mounted the mic on the right ram-air duct tube and the camera lens is mounted on the left rear foot peg bracket, great angle. Just thought I'd share my excitement
