i thought maybe my coil was to stiff. I loosened it up and set up the shock. The only time the shinko wouldnt spin was with someone on the back.

The ZX14 rear coil lacks. We suspected that and while having our suspensions tuned by an expert it was confirmed. There are aftermarket rear shocks available that will serve you much better for your weight.

when i x tended it i changed the coil to a heavy duty coil. I forgot where i got it. It was set by my weight. Its alot shorter than the stock coil. I stiff though.

If you got to stiff of a spring then it may not be letting the bike squat enough to hook or it may be Pogoing

i soften the coil. I feel the bike squat once i get moving. It will squat when the tire heats up some. It just doesnt grip and squat. Once i get the u soft i see what happens. Im starting to get excited.

the 2ct tire uses a harder compound in the center section to prolong the life of the tire by not wearing the center flat as quickly, the outer sections of the tire is the same compound as the regular power pilot and they handle exactley the same in the twisties. i,ve been getting about 1k more miles out of the 2ct tires over the regular pilots. i would emagine the regular pilot would make a better drag tire than the 2ct, both are awesome street tires

the center of the 2CT pilot power is the same compound as the center of the pilot power. the sides are softer on the 2CT. michelin.com has the exact specs, I think its 80/20.

for drag racing, a pilot power and a pilot power 2CT are one in the same.
