06 zx14 front end vibration..

Does anybody know if there's been any issues with the ZX14 06 model front tire causing vibrations at speeds of 90 and above? My friend in this picture as an issue with his 14 causing a vibration in the front tire at high speeds.. He has aftermarket chrome rims brand-new tires that are balanced well... He just called me for my opinion and I told him I think it might be a bushing... I also told them I would post this to see what kind of feedback I receive to further help them...

More specific please...When you say vibration...Shakes or ? really doubt its bushings...Maybe bearings...More than likely a bad tire or a belt in the tire has broke..

If the steering head bearings have never been reset to stock spec you would more than likely have a wobble. I assume since it's an 06 there are some miles on the bike, I would look at the head bearings. The wobble would cause undue tire wear. I know you said the bike has chrome wheels . Did you install new bearings or knock the bearings out of the old wheels and reuse? New bearings should have been installed. Removing the old ones usuually damages them, visually you may not see the damage, it is usually internal in the sealed bearing. I have also experienced some really bad chrome jobs on wheels where the chromer actually chromed the inside of the bearing hubs and people either just drive the bearings in creating damage to the wheel and bearing and or they try to remove the chrome inside the bearing hub making the bearing fit too loosely. These are things I see people bring to me all the time to repair. I recommend looking closely all the things I have listed above as well as looking at the tire closely. If your tire is worn, replace it, check the bearings while the wheel is off and have it balanced correctly. You very well could have a very dangerous situation lurking and should not put off doing something. I hope this helps you.

Re-torque the front axle nut and pinch bolts...Grease the axle...Have the rim hi-speed balanced...Chrome rim, where did he get the rim from-maybe bent? and what about the bearings?...Whats the condition of the tire?
