no, the less time it takes the better. it's all about fractions of seconds, right?

had an HRC quick turn on my 1000RR, just need to know if anyone produces one for the 14

I will try the pump accelerator feature as well.

I did it late in October.
I love it!
Its all in the wrist,
but now I just don't have to turn it so far! LOL

less stroke= more rubber smoke :P

...still good on the street, unless you your the kind of guy who always pulls it too far and always hits the knob.... err I mean limiter ! LOL

Gentlemen... first off I don't want to get in trouble for selling things when I shouldn't but I do want to let you know about this mod

please feel free to contact me Rifleman@hotmail.com about it.

Here is the basic rundown though... (hope I'm not steping over the line)

the OEM throttle is 91-92 degrees of rotation between Idle and WOT, the insert mentioned above reduces that to 72' of rotation (1/5th of a turn) It gives you access to the top 15-20% of the throttle range with out haveing to regrip or twist your body out of position on the bike.

it is also more useful to the street rider with an occational track day or drag night tossed in. It is controlable on the street unlike the 1/6th or 1/8th race kits and does not require any additional parts... uses the OEM cables, and housing with minor (and reversable) modifications.

takes about half an hour to install with a few normal tools for most people.

I have personally performed 3 installs on the ZX-10R, which is the same as the 14R (and the 6RR & 636) with respect to the grip, housing, and cables.

I make these for a number of bikes and have been running one on my TLR for 2 years...

it is the way the throttle should have come from the factory, makes the bike Agile, responsive, tight....

ADMINS... PLEASE, if I have voilated some rule or code, let me know, I will fix or remove the offensive parts of the post... I'm all about helping people make the most of the bike they have... sometimes I step over the line when posting on new boards.... Let me know, I'm totally willing to work with in the rules.

oh and here is a pic so you all know what I look like

I have had Rifleman's Quick throttle since July. It is awesome!! My throttle only turns like 1/4 turn now!!

As for the PC accelerator pump feature....I played with it all summer long....don't waste your time.

PS, don't forget to warn someone about the QUICK throttle, should you allow them to ride your bike!!!

I put one on back in June 07 and there was a noticeable gain at the strip in mph (151 to 152 mph now, 149.5 mph was my best before) from getting the throttle open quicker and easier without stressing the wrist, works good street riding also, I would recommend it to anyone who races.
