i don't want to change out my oem windshield to mount my lcd, i think mounting it that high puts in in your critical field of view, and like i said if they want it they will take it ,that lock is not cryptonite.

Experience no visual obstructions to your LCD Screen, Gas Gauge and Double Bubble windshield. At 185 looking down at the LCD Screen, is a very difficult task but I have a clear view of my calibration and rpm's. At this speed, having to look down would take your eyes off the road. I know the lock is not cryptonite but it beats velcro anyday.

Thank you for your information, everyone has a different opinion and has different tastes, but i respect your opinion anyways.

RIdeharder,if you removed the LCD and the lock you have securing it, does the remaining part of the brocket still exposes itself? I like the look of it but if I wanted to remove the lock and LCD will that area be clear again(minus taking everything apart)? I can't see the whole bracket and how it mounts from the pics.

The lock and bracket are one secure piece, so the lock isn't removed. The lock area contains a swinging mount that swings to the left which allows easy access to the LCD screen for removal. By removing the LCD screen, all you would see is the lock and mounting area (plate) which is smaller than the LCD screen itself. The plate is basically mounted in place because I am working on universal hold patterns to support GPS systems and Radar Detectors which doesn't obscure the view. I will try to post you more pictures later, but I am going to the track tonight for a bit because it is test and tune night. I love the way the LCD screen is mounted for the track it is great for drag racing. Because the RPM tack is right in view. I hope this information answered your questions.
