Brock Map
Got a Brocks map today via email. Those with an 08' that have a brocks system you should check his site or your email if you inquired to a map, you should have it. It says its temporary until further testing can happen but should be real close. Too bad its raining so I can compare it to the current map.

you can compare it to the current map by plugging in your laptop to the power commander and comparing the numbers displayed for each rpm and throttle position. you can look at maps using the software without plugging it in to the power commander as well. the numbers plus or minus are compared to the stock settings. i know it is not as fun as riding but it lets you know where they added or subtracted the juice and when.

Is it a flies-in, or flies-out map?

Its a flies in map. It stated that it was just something to get going, with further updates to come with more track and dyno time. The two maps after comparing I would say they were pretty close. Again Im no expert, a small change may make a big difference, but they look to be close. They seem to be richening and leaning in the same areas though.

We have been breaking in and just started power testing our 2008 ZX-14 we have named Diary 2 (D2 for short).
The map I just sent some of our 08 ZX-14 pipe owners was made from a customer's brand new 08 until we can produce perfect maps for all of the combinations the ZX-14's require. The weather won't cooperate around here so no one has any real miles on their engines which forces us to take it slow and easy with our load testing/map development.
Our complete 2008 map database will as thorough as our 06/07 database and will include our new configuration which eliminates 90% of Decel popping (Available the first week in Jan. 2008 for current 06/07 ZX-14 Brock's Performance Exhaust system owners. See our ZX-14 test and race section in the private section of our forum for more details.)
For those who are listed on our "2008 ZX-14 contact us list" you will be receiving our latest update on D2 very soon.
If you are not on the list and would like to be notified early about the D2's progress:
Go to Brock's Performance
Scroll down to the 2008 ZX-14 Info-Click Here link to submit your request.
