Ported head, Cam swap

Anybody did either with any good results on a stock engine. If so who's head & what cams were used.

what are some of the hp and tq #s on some of these combos. my bike is stock engined with a brock gen 3 ss and pc it made 184.28 hp and 107.20 ft lbs tq . that wasnt so hard. what are some of ya'lls # s . 1397 made roughly the same peak power but was stronger in the middle .so no stock engined 200 hp bs numbers please.

I hope to have my 14 dynoed soon, but it doesn't have any internal work done. I'd be happy with 175-180 hp readings on pump gas.

What the hell
Why would you come on a zx14 fourm and say any thing about MY 1397???
You did not tell all the facts...
The dyno owner is a biased 14 owner!!!
He killed my clutch!!!
My map was in the 10/1 air fuel range, way ritch
He ajusted my power commander with buttons, not the map,and made it worse...
I could go on and on but what the hell...
Are you realy that stupid???
I guess if I had a 14 and could get people to belive a so called stock 14 could out perform a well tuned 1397 that would boost my ego to...

Have a nice day DUMB ASS!!!

Can you fill us in on the details of the build? What did it make for power? Do you have a graph?

If you mean average hp it can be anywhere from 185 to 220, lot of variables 185 being basically just the piston kit with 220 being 1397, cams, headwork. I would say average is around 200

30th i was not bashing your bike or talking junk your bike is real strong the only reason i even mentioned your 1397 was that if some 14 owner said they had close to 200 hp it would be bull shit further more i never mention whose 1397 it was. we stil friends or what? i have not said anything negative about your bike. CHILL

A 14 can make 200 hp with race fuel, using STD numbers, mine was 189 on 87 pump gas with my aircleaner in .so 200 on mr9 with air filter removed would have been real close.

my friend has a 1397 busa, he handed me my butt yesterday, I have an 08, flies in, Brock alien, PC, geared, etc.

I raced a 1363 also, and i beat him everytime, there are a lot of factors involved, as one 1397 could perform vastly different from another.
