Pics of my new Blue 08

Some pics of my new blue ....

Installed Helibar risers last nite.....What else is there to do on Xmas eve but play with your bike ?
I have only ridden less than a hundred miles, but next up are fender eliminator, new grips, and rearsets...

Its cloudy in South Florida today, so the blue sparkles in the paint do not show up ...

Happy holidays all!!

Got one too, can't say I like the bowling ball sparkles. The dark metalflake would be very much nicer without them IMHO. Would much prefer a solid or candy color. On the other hand everybody thats looked at it says it's hot, especially the girls, shows ya what I know.

Going to order the bar risers, does it seem like it makes much of a difference ???

IMHO you can feel a difference tho Its not that much, since its less than 1inch higher than stock. But because of the low fairing, there is not much room to play with.
I have not done any long range touring yet, but any relief will be fine by me.

GTMan,

Beauty! And it looks like the weather is fine. We're at 6000' here and its 20 degrees, blowing 35 knots, and snowing. Here's a picture of my 08 blue taken 2 days ago when it wasn't snowing. I got 200 miles on between snowstorms to date. Enjoy your riding and modding! You'll be way ahead of me by Spring.

Very nice looking bike. Even though your pictures are nice, it still looks better in person doesn't it!!!

Man, I got to give you props for riding in December. When I lived in upstate New York, my riding was pretty much over by November. Good luck with yours too...It looks like you keep her nice and shiny.
