I have 'em and they're awesome. I haven't had any reason to use the extension for the front that allows you to remove the fork, but I'm very pleased with them otherwise.
edit for a tip: To put it up on the rear stand safely and unassisted, take the seat off and steady the bike by holding onto the bracket near the tail.

have the rear stand with the swingarm spools and just love it. Sure glad I went this route, instead of the center stand!

Thanks guy's.....I trust the rear stand that use's the spools would be more sturdy than the stand that ues's the swingarm directly ??

spooled pitbulls are the way to go. I had a bad/ecpensive experience with the non-spooled LP stands.

i used the forward handle pit bull for my 14 (spooled). I didn't like the fact that the kickstand got in the way because the bike was so wide, but the forward handle was sweet with no handle or stand behind the bike...saves a ton of room. On the Yamaha, the kickstand doesn't interfere.
Pics of my bike on the forward handle stand can be seen in this thread: http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=35&TID=35335&set_time=1198119730
on a side note, VORTEX stands are great too, and less expensive.

My friend has 4 different sets of stands. The last one bought was the pitbulls. since then he sold 2 of the other stands since he will never use them again. He also is a bike mechanic working out of his garage part time, so he is ordering another set- so he can get rid of the Vortex stand he also has lol and I'm getting the Vortex for $25 as soon as he does.

I have both the pit bull rear and VORTEX front and rear. Something to be said for each.
Sticks: $25 for the VORTEX is an incedible deal, I'd be all over that too.

No, but I use their stuff on the track and it just blows out the competition. Actually the way I both spend a fortune on their stuff and hype their name they fackin' should kick me back!
check out the VORTEX clips and triple-tree. Makes our little thin metal factory triple tree look like the junk it is.

****Here is a pic of the ZX14 on the forward handle pit bull illustrating how there is NOTHING behind the bike with this type stand.
(The handle comes off the rear VORTEX stand, but there's still a pipe around the back of the wheel remaining)

Here is a picture of my stand. It has the side handle so that you can balance it and stand the bike on your own. Much easier than the rear handled stands. Very convient. i like it alot!
