aftermarket rim/sprockets question
I realize that sprockets are relatively cheap compared to rims. I was wondering if I will need to buy brand specific sprockets for aftermarket rims? Looking at rims, I was just curious. For instance, if I buy rims for my 14, will I be able to use all of my Vortex sprockets? Or, will I have to buy 'their' sprockets due to specific fitment...
thanks

You will have to consult the wheel manufacturer, for the bolt patten and hub diameter of the wheels that you will purchase.

Aftermarket wheels have their own cush drive which require different sprockets. One exception is the Carrozzeria wheel which uses the ZX-10 sprocket. LSL

If your gonna use their wheels - You need a sprocket from a ZRX-1200. The
1400 sprocket doesnt work .... but the brales are 100% bolt up.

So are the ZX-10 and ZRX-1200 sprockets the same?? Or perhaps Carrozzerias use different sprockets for different rim choices?
Course, when he drops that bundle of dough down for them I'm 'pretty sure' that they will tell him lol. Just ask them a question Lietoome: do they use the same sprockets for all there rims past and present? You never know when you buy a custom bike just what type of sprockets they require, and thats one question that could easily be overlooked when buying it from the owner. If the past owner even knows.

i wont be buying for a few more months. I'll keep looking around for a group buy or something cheaper than $1750. I'll let you guys know what I find out when I actually purchase.
Thanks for the info, Bob.
