CORBN PEG LOWERING KIT

I just spoke with Corbin regarding the return of the peg lowering kit due to the fact it will not work in my 2007 ZX14.

The representative stated he had no knowledge of any problems with these kits and Corbin had a "no return" policy. The representative was no helpful in any manner.

Has anyone else encountered this problem with Corbin? I always have regarded Corbin as a top notch company but now have my doubts.

Its been stated here and if you do a search on this forum that CORBIN is pure crap regarding that product on the 14. Maybe suggest to those folks to come here and do a quick search.

And if you want AJUSTABLE pegs, go with real VORTEX rearsets. Quality product and many here swear by them. If you do a search, you'll see a set on Dubious's ZX14.

The Corbins were a total waste of money and time for me!!! And yes, I have heard the same about their customer service.

Checked out the rearsets and have a question

Just picked up the 2008 zx14 today. Midnight sapphire. Badass color I must say. Anyway this is my first zx14. I love all the ergos about the bike, the reason why I chose it over the busa. Anyway, the pegs are an issue for me. Too high. The rearsets you speak of I saw on a site and I have two issues with the comments I've seen here that I need to clear up. One, it said the most down drop was 12.5mm. Only 1/2 an inch but some here have stated and inch or more. Second, regardless of the down set it also denoted that on those settings something was interfered with (kickstand??) which limited that to a race bike. I'm using this for the street. So, can anyone tell me what setup will get me an inch or more drop without causing an issue elsewhere and that is a bolt on deal. I'm not really looking to getting into doing machine work on parts. I need a true bolt on deal. Wouldn't think this would be so tough to find. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help. Hope this, my first post, is met with some good feedback.
