muzzy airshifter

has anybody tried to set the delay and kill time on the shifter, by putting the bike on a stand. and then running it like you would on the track. i was just wondering if this would work. maybe somebody could tell me the best way to set these.

if it's not on some kind of rollin wheel i think the chain will break and all hell will be in your face.i set up shifters on the entrance ramps to the hiway .find 2 exits close to each other and make a big loop out of it.start of about 5 grand for your first shifts to make sure it will complete some shifts.take what tools you need with you to make adjustments.
remember that a shift can be made at lower rpms with a shorter delay on the kill.if you try to make a shift at redline it might not go in gear till you ad more delay.there is alot of pressure in that engine at red line so it takes a little more delay.

set kill on the safe side (long kill) then slowly reduce the kill until the bike misses a shift then add a little back . I wounld not waste much time trying to set it on the stand because the trans must unload to shift, no load on the stand.

Not sure what the timing is out of the package, it worked fine for me. I'm assuming that they come from muzzy preset.

The MUZZY Digi Kill comes set at the mid point of its settings. Every application can be different. Please follow the instructions for proper fine tuning. Do Not try to set while bike is on the stand!!!!

You guys won't believe this one... A 1st gen busa owner I know but the bike on the stand and did a test to see how far 6th gear would rev too. I was floored when I was told about this. 1 slip or mishap and the results are going to kill someone.. It gives me tremors just thinking about losing a bud when the bike comes off the stand pinned in 6th gear..

Not worth it ! Sorry for the thread jack..
