'08 Busa at the track

Out at BMP last night Prostar Super Street Champion Victor Gotay jumped on 2008 Busa at stock wheel base, lowered & strapped with a Ti Force and no PC. His first run ever on the bike was a 9.6 something. On his second run the boards showed a 9.51 at 146.

You guys think the lack of tune was hurting it? MPH sounds way too low for someone Vic's size. Smokin did you run?

yup i would say the lack of a P/C hurt it ... I was thinking with Vic riding plus a pipe and clutch mod that it would be close to Gadsons numbers with a pipe and p/c on the zx14 .. I saw a can of U4.2 setting next to the bike but i don't know if the bike had that in the tank.. It could have been on pump gas ... The owner said it dyno stock it made 169 hp before the pipe ....

Yes i ran my bike but was having problems with fuel or my airshifter or both lol ...All i could muster on the motor was 8.90s and 8.71 on a 15 hp shot of spray.. My Muzzy Digi-kill took a dump on me .. And it seems the U4.2 is killing my MPH ....

A prostar can have off days too! Look at Brocks track runs with Richard. A joe blow ran better time than he could.
