ZUMO 550 map update?
Anyone have a link to a free map update for the ZUMO 550? I got an e-mail there is an update out for around 80 dollars!?
Hopefully a free link is available such as the links I posted over in the R1 forum for service manuals.

You can't -- each update is serialized and mates to the unit ESN through a process on the Garmin site where you have to visit to complete the update. Trust me when I tell you that there's no way around this Steve...the version you'd need now, is NT 2008, which is what you got the e-mail about. You can pickup the updates at Best Buy or Circuit City easily. There are many retailers who will sell you the update besides those two, but it;s easy to get them there.
