I told you to keep an eye on JesseJames

JesseJames has got his game on . ... Tonight he blasted off some 1.40 60 footers and a 5.70 flat in the 1/8 mile .... Jesse also took out old Smokin on one pass ...He also took out a few Pros by tossing down some killer RTs on a pro tree !!!!!

Burnout was also there and he is really riding his black zx14 well ..He running some low 1.40 60 footers and tossing out low 5.90s ...He is really doing good even at his weight of 200+ pounds ....He did these numbers on pump gas so with a little U4 he will be running 5.80s ....

As for me i was 5.72 to 5.74 all night running Brock Maxton map.....I can't say for sure if the Maxton map is faster than the Race map ...The numbers are so close between the maps in the 1/8 mile i just can tell ... One thing fore sure the Maxton map didn't slow me down any ...

Smokin ....

Sounds like you're having too much fun!
Thanks for the report.

Jesse & Smokin,

Do you guys ride your bikes on the street? How's the handling at 64"? I'm thinking about stretching my 14 but am concerned about the handling. I only drag race occassionally...mostly street riding.

Thanks,

My corner speed is reduced by about 15-20% at 64", mostly due to less feedback,
I need to feel what is going on waaay back there!

My underbraced arm feels very stiff, extensions likely will reduce speeds further since the stock arm was not design to torsionally handle the added leverage extensions impose on it.

If your a corner junkie then you won't like it streached. I took my bike at 66" through the sweepers in the N GA mountains and was able to keep up and I'm not that good in the turns. Streaching the bike does make it a smoother ride.

I can drag knees at will on the track and at only 4 over I was left in the dust by everyone in the corners, Guess it's all in who your keeping up with. But at 66 inches you would not even see any buddy i ride with after about 4 tight corners

Question? Hey smokin, are you running that map with the nitrous? If not, how much did you have to do once you turn the gas on? Also, with those times, what kind of gas are you guys running and are you airshifting?
