Are we being Framed???
Okay... I know this subject has been beaten to death but I have noticed an increase in posts regarding people having cracked frames on the 14. I am not sure if this information is factual or just a myth generated by haters in order to keep us from buying Kawi's. Will someone tell me if this is something I am going to really worry about when I go in for my '08? I have no intention on stretching it, or putting on a turbo kit or adding Noz. I will like to take it to the track to get my jollies off once in a while but I plan to be doing everyday riding on it. Do I have anything to fear? I value everyone's opinions on this board. Thanks!

Why not search and read the prior threads?
I never once worried about my frame braking from 2006 until I sold the bike 2 weeks ago.

It turned out to be a few bikes that had bad weld on foot brake side of cross over section of frame! There has been quite a few reasons discussed on why they cracked but my warranty rep said it was a h.a.z problem. I asked a guy on another site thats really good at this type of thing and he had already figured it out, If your frame is not already cracked then dont worry about it, If you have an 08 your good to go.We have checked every 14 thats come into my shop an not one was bad. Now watch' the haters will attack! bill...

every bike has a frame failure rate. like the majority of the bikes, on the ZX14 it is very low.

Really wow, an ancient ZX11 frame?...
Here's the '94 ZX11 frame I recall (of course raked and polished):
