Anyone else notice a trend here? Whenever a single lady (or assumed single lady) who has a bike joins up her first "New Post" instantly becomes 3+ pages long NO MATTER WHAT it's about! lol
Personally I blame Steve... guy has almost 10,000 posts in a year and 5 months! Yes, even I cant match that...................

no pics yet... no wheels on order yet... apparently my LP rep does not like to return phone calls, so if i hear nothing in the next couple of days i believe that i will just pursue an alternate path. i guess these are some long posts, good observation guy!!!  and actually just recently got engaged so the single thing is over for this gal

Sorry Sadie they don't actually care if your single, married, 90 years old, transvestite, or a guy posing as a girl. It's the internet dont cha know! Most of us are just bored at work buying time till the clock ticks over to closing time. Except for Steve. I think he's just a computer program someone wrote up to see how many legible posts it could make before it ran out of ideas. Could be wrong though.

LP is letting you down? hey I hear you can get a set of these spokes used for a great deal and they are easy to maintain and have been proven to haul a family of four including pets, furniture and a barrel of hard whiskey over 2000 miles!

i was actually thinking maybe a metal flake black. you guys are killer. Looks like I wont be getting spokes. Had a few too many people seem more than slightly concerned about safety so looks like i am still on the hunt for some Different, not chrome wheels.

Wow hold on there Sadie! Don't change your mind because of what we said. Time for a Lucky Lo quote: "Well behaved women rarely make history." Do what you want, stick with your idea because it's YOUR IDEA not what we coerced you into. Remember, there isn't a wheel maker out there that would put out a rim that couldnt handle the power of the bike it was meant for. Stick to you guns lady, I'm rooting for you to get them on, as are quite a few others. Now, I wouldnt recommend any nitrous or turbo's in that bikes future though lol.

sticks those wheels are proven to not be the safest thing on the "street" is the real deal, not counting the host of other issues people have mentioned online and off.

So steve, you saying there weaker than some of those "race track only" use magnesium rims guys run on the potholed streets of the US? You know she aint going to be hitting 180+mph on that bike with or without those rims. And the liability thing would and does keep most of the crap off the shelves. Hell, I've seen spoked rims that didnt look nearly as beefy as the 14 ones take in excess of 200 hp before. And how many guys do you know that run "Race Track Only" rims on the streets?

it was not solely your comments on here that changed my mind, the more informed that i became about them the easier it was to make an educated safety oriented decision. I am now on the hunt for something else. I am not a fan of chrome so any suggestions where to begin because i know roaringtoyz is mostly chrome.

sticks when did "race wheels" come into play anywhere on this thread? and the spokes reliability and maintenance compared to other wheels has been beat to death.
sadie, agreed they are chrome and may turn you off. but they are aluminum wheels, not steel. and had they left them "polished aluminum" they wouldn't be as bright.
this company has Kawasaki wheels in polished aluminum: http://www.xtrememachineusa.com/ and a host of other companies sell 'em as well
