Suspension Setup..??? need help

Hey guys I need some help I dont know if my rear suspension is set right. It is at stock right now... the bike is at 64'', lowered, and I weigh 115 soaking wet... I just want to know if I should make it stiffer or softer... It is a stock shock any help would be great... this is an dragracing only bike so i dont care about comfort.

you want it to be as stiff as possible without causing it to spin. if it's too soft, the extra movement is wasted energy that could be moving the bike forward. too stiff , and you'll blow the tire off. it takes some time to find the sweet spot.. you're hauling ass already good job!!!

the more your rear end sags the more likely your front tire is too come up to soon requiring you to back off the throttle. It's a compromise that you have to make, and pro racers (cars at least) base it on factors such as: what track (or even lane), weather, and track prep, and of course engine set up. If you want one setup to cover all conditions you must go to the "softest" setting, because as Mark mentioned, its better to lose a little on a premature wheelie than spin the tire.

That said, the 14's stock spring is way too soft for nearly everyone. Probably done my Kawi to ensure rookies can launch easier without spinning the tire and wrecking IMO. Good luck!
