Mr Turbo Stage II, Finally Home!
After 17 months of R and D along with a lot of road testing. It is setting in it's new garage built specifically for it. Believe it or not it snowed the following day after we arrived home,,,, just flurries thank goodness! Our local dragstrip has closed for winter, so I guess I will have to head south. I will post as soon as I have numbers to post.
The one plus of the long wait was, I got to watch a Mr Turbo stage I kit get upgrade to a Stage II in two days time! It took a while for the testing and development. But 2 days to install a Stage II WOW! I also found out that Orient is now selling the Kit. Not surprised it is a work of art, now we will see if I can do it justice at the dragstrip?

Where? I am in southern Indiana. I know, the middle of no where! I am setting here installing the airshifter. Hopefully, I will be going for a test ride in a few hours!

kennedale is just south of FT. Worth. It is open most of the winter, weather permitting. It is only a 1/8 mile track but a good one.

You now have an option at Orient! Terry could not keep up with all the calls and kits going out! I believe you can purchase the Mr Turbo Stage I kit for a little less money from Orient than from Terry. I know Laura came back to keep up with the packaging of parts to be shipped out for the 14's.

What is the biggest difference between the stage I & II kits? I talked to Terry a few months ago about his turbo issues breaking and he explained all that and said that they replaced/fixed all turbos that had issues. He was EXTREMELY informative about EVERY detail of the kit. I really liked what I heard from him and the kits come COMPLETE with a power commander already mapped, thanks to ppl like tg1820 and XXX for letting Terry dyno the heck outta their bikes to give that same data to new kit owners. It's a no-brainer.
Yes get pics of the bike up as well.

There are a lot of little things but basicly to have more boost than a stage I, you have to have the internal engine work done, pistons, rods, valve springs and so on. You can either have it done by Terry at his shop or they will give you the recommended spec's for you or your engine builder. The stage II kit mapping done was for 10,15 or 20 pounds of boost. You could go higher as a stage II! Though if you want more than 400 HP I would go with a stage III like the XXX plating bike of Kevin's. The stage III along with some more goodie's includes a secondary fuel rail for the higher boost levels! (You'll have to ask Kevin how much HP it makes, I am sworn not to tell) I stayed at the stage II as the secondary fuel rail is not legal for the Prostar class I am hoping to compete in next year! And thanks Brent, it was my pleasure to have been involved in the development of this Turbo system. I have to admit though I was biting at the bit to get my hands on it in time for the race at Gainsville.
I did not make it but I will be ready for the first race of 08! It was interesting to watch all the work done developing pistons, rods, valve springs, etc go together in a new stage II fully mapped and ready to go in less than a 2 day time frame! If I had not been invovled from day one I don't believe I would appreciated what all it takes to develop a first class system. But it was worth it! I have learned a lot and made a wonderful friend, no make that friends, during the process!

I got it out today and put about 30 miles on it. I made a few 30 to 130mph runs at about 5 to 7 pounds of boost with stock gearing. WOW! Had to put it up for some family time. I can't wait to get it to the track. It felt like I was going into warp drive. The scary part is 5 pounds of boost would be like warp 1?
