nutin wrong wit ma engrish brudah....... motorcyclist list the weight of the 08 busa as 596lbs with a full tank of gas.....this is actual weight from their scale not one of those mythical magical dry weight numbers......thats about 50 lbs more than my 14 weighed on the local truck scale but i don't remember how much gas i had in the tank....probably close to half. yeah i know 60 pounds is a stretch but i am willing to bet that it's at least 35 lbs difference..

I'm willing to bet there will not be much weight difference once both have pipes. If the Busa out weighed the 14 by 60lbs then it's a even badder machine then we thought cause the 06 14 went 9.00 and the Busa went 8.91 so if it did that carrying 60 more lbs the 14 is in for a long year.

All them new cats in the exhaust add alot of weight . An aftermarket exhaust is probably good for 35 lbs. weight savings on the busa.

I'd bet that the real wet weight of both bike are within 10 lbs of each other...but, on the other hand, if you're right, then the extra HP the Busa claims, would be lost in power to weight. It would have no advantage on the strip at all...

Fire the marketing director, VP and Sr VP , then get someone with a clue of what's happening.
This is too silly that Kawasaki don't know what Brock does for them and us.
They give Roaring toyz a bike ,but not Brock.
With that logic, give me one before him too.
Hey Kawasaki, PM me for shipping infomation on my new 08 zx14.
Give the man the first bike you can get you hand on!

They give Roaring Toys one to try and start a fan club like the hayabusa has. I really don't see the point of spending an asshole full of money for a custom bike that depreciates every second! Once you buy it you better enjoy it for the long haul because that money is gone. I have seen too many people try with no luck to get the money they spent pimping out something then realizing what they have done. I guess the dream of parking lot pimping clouds their minds.

Roaring toyz has some rally nice stuff. No need to knock show bikes.

With the exception of some bolt-on extentions I don't want anything they sell.
How many wide tire bikes are there really? Compare that number to Brocks SMEG and lowering kits. Look at the numbers.
Compare bikes with Brock's parts VS Muzzys parts. dyno or track any you will see truth.
If it were not for Brock many zx14 would be alot slower.
Anyone on this board think speed don't sell motorcycles?
Give the man a bike.

There is a reason Kawaski is a very distannt secod to Suzuki.... it is not engineering or production..... obviously it is marketing including brand management and image managment........ but what do any of us really care - the 08 - 14 and Busa are equal performers- the Busa has superior build potential - they are equal in bolt on potential - they were designed to be - with modest increase over current 06 14 - trying to keep the technology refresh thing going - the object is to get your money - get you to want to buy a new toy....... and for the aftermarket - to get some enhancements for the new toy - I would guess that their product lfe cycle might have them creeping up a bit in two more years, assuming one company moves the bar - forcing the other to follow - as so many folks just got to have that little bit extra that some magazine verifed performance improvement - oh - and it makes you want to buy another magizine - (could this inspire favorable reviews????) to read about the new toy....

Don't have a problem with show bikes. Just there is a limit to how much crap you can pile on a bike. There is such thing as being too busy!

Went to Dragbike.com ........... AGAIN!

Still has the same blurb: "Check out the complete coverage of the ZX-14 press launch on Dragbike.com following Rockingham."

The Rock has come and gone.
Why no new info?

Brock?
Anyone?

After the way your dyno thread went, you think I'm going public? LOL!

Besides, Brock should have a lot more useful info - love reading his reports.
