do you have to have a NHRA lic. for 9's
I was wondering if you had to have an NHRA license if your bike runs 9.99 or lower just if your at test and tune day? I know you have to obtain one if your into comp, racing , but I just go to have fun and see what times I can run so far my best time is 10.40 on a bone stock 14 with very little experiance. I plan on taking the flies out and getting brocks pc + pipe + lowering and extending the swing arm. so I know after those mods I will be in the nines for sure. I was just wondering if anyone had any info for me

If you race(even just test n tune)at a NHRA sanction track,You are required to have a NHRA license on any bike running 9.99 or less.Go to there site for more. It requires a physical ,6 runs which 2 of them have to be in the 9's,signed signatures by other licensed drivers, send in get license & every 2 years you have to take a phsyical for the renewal.

NHRA will have to change that number soon. Because with the average mods any decent rider can dip below 9.99.
