LOL

hey stevie, led signals and a tinted screen will make a world of difference on yur new ride...

that is happening fast.

so far we did the fender eliminator.

next on the list:

integrated rear light and real front signals
those things that screw on the swingarm so my stand will work
rear seat cowl (yippee no fackin' screws! lol)
VORTEX race clipons (bike needs a little more comfort for me being tall)
VORTEX rearsets
Full exhaust/PC

the bike is hurting for this stuff immediately. I'll consult with wee and such, I'm not diggin' the R1 forum so far but am still brand new to it

Yes, its not an issue to worry about at all or I'd be screaming about it louder than those folks with frames snapping while the bike was idling down the street!

Here is the running light mod.\

First remove the upper side Fairings, you have to take the two black inner fairing puch pins out to get the side fairings off. Next cut the wiring from the stock blinkers but leave the harness plugged up...On the right side, wire the Black and green wires to the two black wires going to the Running light. The blue wire is not used on this mod....The left side, use the Black and Brown wires to the left side.

wee thank you sir. I ordered the $200 seat cowl because I can't stand the rear seat lol. if it doesn't work I may get the rear seat customized.

thanks for the running light mod. I really want to replace the front turn signals, which LED brand do you suggest? Also I need the integrated rear tail light that doubles as turn signals in the back?

they expect some PMs from me regarding mods...hope i don;t aggravate you. I really want to do a lot and soon. I knew when I bought this bike it would end up costing more with mods than the duc ready right out of the box

Hey guys, I put the first VORTEX product on the bike. Was only the swingarm spools for the pit bull stand-

(ping flyboy again per comment above) tonight, since the VORTEX, the Yamaha seemed to perform better, check out the phone cam pic :P

And the pit bull forward stand works VERY well on this bike. The bike being slim allows for the stand to work without the kickstand inerfering, the kickstand is nowhere in the way, and can be put up or down with the bike on the stand
