You went and did it....................

Steve:

Regardless of the trade keep in touch dude. Riding is riding and we both like twisties so I don't care what you ride as long as we ride. Enjoy.

Ride safe....

I'm Honda 100% and hyped that new bike before details were released, but I saw their new litre bike in person when we were on the Daytona track. And dude, I gotta be able to look at the bike in my garage. Oh well maybe next year

You will love the R1...... I want to to sell me ZX-14 now......., I just love riding my 07R1.

Ok folks I hated to depart with my ZX14 but I noticed something minor going on and its not the first time and I decided Kawasaki and I have to part ways. Thats all I'll say, and I'll miss the 14 as many know I planned to sell it long ago and couldn't force myself. I got a great trade in price for it, but only after hitting a lot of dealers and the one that I did business with is a personal friend. Most offered pennies on the dollar, one dealer even less than KBB trade-in.

Hopefully I'll still be welcome to postho oops oops I meant post up here!

Like the 14 I'll say the R1 I plan to keep for a year, but hopefully the Yamaha will hold up and after a year I throw the track plastics on when I buy something else.

The litre bikes are so close for 2008, I was set on my next bike being a litre bike, and Yamaha is the bike I've never owned. Actually I wanted a Honda but I can't get past the new looks.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me so much regarding my ZX14, I can't say thanks enough! I'll miss riding the bike for sure.

man c'mon down! I would NOT drag race the R1 anyway whats the point? Anyone witha 3rd grade education knows the R1 won't cover the ZX14/new 'busa. But now on the road race course lets go for it- bring that big beast and lets race!

Thanks! Had the bike a whole day and the fender eliminator is done. I never seen a bike that needed the mud flap/signals/reflectors removed more than this one!

I'm thinking akro, but it seems most have that brand. I try to be different so I'm liking LeoVince. Wee your input would be great, type of pipe (titanium/stainless/etc) brand and do you suggest and where I can find it the cheapest. Also I need the bike light that works as turn signals too.

I know graves is to yamaha what brocks is to the drag bikes and I can get a canned map, but again everyone seems to like that brand

My other choice of exhaust was Ti-Force, full Ti system is waste of $ to me, you only save 2-3 lbs for $100's of dollars more. My Akra was $1325 from Indysuperbikes.com, ive got a Leo Vince on my ZX-14, when I got it Ti-Force wasnt available, and Akra doesnt make a full exhaust for the 14.

Let me pull a led running light to see what size diameter, I couldnt get my bigs ones in there, I saw a wiring kit somewhere? but I think you can just connect your turnsignal wires to the led harness in the fairing.

If you dont mind spending a little more go with the watsens turnsignals. If you do the running light mod, you will need turnsignal blockoff's.

If they had more muscle I'd have bought one long ago...

Congrats Steve.............. The Akrapovic looks great, and from what I've been told works great too. ( No suprise there ) If you want top quality and performance that almost nobody has, ( a little uniqueness ) then go with the Beet Nassert..............really nice stuff.
