Yep..........I think Bently got a good one alright. Also.......it went directly to the race track and then to the dyno..............so those rings got seated straight away. :thumgup Should be a stompin' motor all tuned up with exhaust and pcIII......................

thats great.you got a good one.almost 190 stock is just insane.std or sae thats awsome.Thats highest i heard yet.my guess these busas are going to lay some nice numbers once full broken in.I think your right 205 plus is poss.with just race fuel you may see 200hp.
Brock is the best tuner out there and his piped with all the tricks made 200 hp broke in... You really think a stone stock Busa is going to make 200 with just race fuel ...Hey i got a bridge in brookland i need to sell cheap ..

I know I'm joking around, I know my buddys 05 busa made 171 on the same day my 14 made 189 and at the track I could have a tenth worse 60 ft then him and drive around him and run 2 tenths quicker. so really thats a 4 tenth split so it took every bit of 18 hp more to do that because I out weigh him by 30 lbs as well! So my 188 today is correct and this bike will run come april!

The 183 is SAE and the 186 was STD

Not really in a hurry as my track is closed and I would rather get some miles on it these last few 60 degree days instead of working on it, It will get on there don't worry and you guys will be the first to know what the power is!

2 weight oil and no filter and STD HP at 186 compared to the busa 189 std hp WITH the air filter and regular oil....

Of course different dyno's but looks like the 14 was given a little help and it sounds pretty close but the completely stock Busa is looking a tad more impressive making those numbers completely stock...

Rickey's SAE vs STD (normally only 2-3% higher) sounds about right, the differance is normally only 3 to 4hp, the Busa is showing a 9hp spread, 179hp SAE vs 188 STD, that's a lot bigger gap, my 14 made 185 SAE vs 188 STD (temp 93 degrees), not saying your numbers are wrong, just a bigger spread than I've herd of, but if it was really cold and really good air, the spread could go higher to like 4-5% SAE vs STD, who nows, one thing I can say is, if those are the real numbers you have got yourself one bad mofo!

From looking at the Dyno charts from Brock's 08 Busa vs Rickey's 08 ZX14, the Busa's AF numbers are pretty good with stock pipes, the worst showing 12.52 AF @10,500 to redline, Rickey's 14 is showing AF's of 11.0 to 10.6@10,500 to redline so he removed the filter to see what it would do, he has a comparison chart of his 06 vs 08 with filters out and the 08 makes 10hp more stock to stock than the 06.

It would be nice to see how much the 08 Busa gains with filter out, it doesn't appear to be as rich as the 14, but it should still gain.

It was cool in the dyno room so there could have been a 5 % Spread and SAE was 179.9 so basicaly 180. I should have pulled the filter, i will later. Oh but what I forgot to mention was that Dyno pull was in Mode C. LOL
