More news about Jeremy Teasleys busa run

This from the people with jeremy teasley "JT tested the busa at National Trailraceway in Ohio. Elvation on that day was 2,000 feet, about 70 degree's is what I'm thinking it was. Not fure sure. Just a regular test and tune here. You guys know how well you liked the track when you were here in the summer. The bike had 19 miles on it and it was his 3rd or 4th pass on the bike.
Also; "we been testing for this weekend. do u know anything about racing ? the air was 2 tenths different from columbus and atco and Rickey's weight is 2 tenths slower than Jeremy, the bikes are dead even STOCK, but if u want to see the fastest 08 motorcycle at this point in time, come to hattiesburg tomorrow, this bitch is rollin with a stock motor "
So there you go if anybody had an unfair advantage it was the zx14 because of no air filter (horsepower increasing modification) and many more passes

Neither bike will win a beauty contest. But I prefer the looks of the busa. IT'S GOING TO BE ONE HELL OF A HEAD TO HEAD. If one bike does come out slightly quicker or faster the "mags" will blow it all out of proportion.

No... No matter what, the mags will say that the Busa rules. They always have said that & I'm sure that they always will say that. Kawasaki doesn't get a fair shake with the mags... the editors must get some type of kick back or special deals from Suzuki when it comes to reporting info on the Zukes. It killed them to have to admit that the ZX14 was the new winner as King of the 1/4 mile back in 06, so I don't see the mags calling it even now that Suzuki has released their new Busa. They'll belittle Kaw's upgrades on the 08 Ninja & make a huge deal about the Busa as usual. Nothing against the new Busa, I believe that the bike has been improved at it seems to be performing very well... BUT, just give credit where credits do! And in my opinion most of the mags don't seem to give Kawasaki a fair shake when it is deserving. I'm sure that other Kaw owners have noticed this too. It would be nice if an article & story was put together by one of the mags matching the 08 ZX14 & new 08 Busa against each other equally matched starting with ZERO mods, then strapped & lowered and finally piped, stretched, PC, etc. All done at the same track, on the same day with teams & riders from both sides. Anything short of this type of organized showdown and it's going to be the same old B.S. back & forth story from both sides that will go on & on with no clear winner ever decided.

I have to say....I'm with you on that thinking.

It was like back when the ZX11 held the title for all those years....but that's forgotten...water over the dam....all you hear is how long the Busa was top dog...

They're a hell of a powerful bike right out the the crate and Zuki left room to improve them a bunch [cylinderhead mods] so tuners love them as much as the owners do. Many new bikes are really difficult to make the heads a lot better than the stock one. The Busa was an exception to that. Like the days of the KZ and the GS where a ported head with cams made a huge difference in performance....the Busa followed suite in that way.

Anyway..JMO

What was the 11 and black bird putting out at the back tire, back in the day......125-130hp? The busa trumped that by 20 hp...not 2 or 3. Now the 14 comes out and throws another 20 hp into the fire and now every busa lover is crapping his pants. 2 years later the bikes are only 2-5 hp apart.....there is no "winner" in this debate. Let me see another 20 hp bump and then i'll say "that" bike is the shit...i love my 14....but if i had either bike and at least 200hp strapped between my legs i'll be a happy MO'FO.
