How much for a '06 ZX-14???

I am willing to part ways with the '06 as iswhich includes:

2400 miles
Brock SMEG that I modified to sit lower than the original SMEG(see photo)
PC with Brock maps
Muzzy air-shifter kit
Roaring Toyz extensions sitting at 64"
16/43 gearing
High flow air filter
smoked turn signals
painted foreman grills
Chromed stock wheels
Shinko 200 U-soft rear
Shinko front tire
Front strapped
Muzzy rear lowering links
Custom cut down stock seat
smoked windshield
ALL STOCK PARTS COME WITH THE BIKE TOO

Problem is, a good price to settle on for the bike with parts. My dealership is saying no more than $7500 with/without mods. LMFAO.

"OR" I can take everything off and put all the stock parts back on.

How much as is and how much with all stock parts put back on?

modified SMEG that I modified to sit lower....kinda like the Alien Head pipe

I hope the guy that bought it checked the VIN. I know of a guy that bought a bike from a SHOP and to later found out the bike was stolen.

I think realisticly you can expect to get between 8000 and 8500. I sold mine for 8800 with 4500 miles and Brocks smeg and lowerd. But that was before the updated 08 was released.
Black magic even with your work done I think you will have a hard time pulling 11,000.

BlackMajic, man that is a stout bike on motor. How much was it to get the head ported? I just may keep my fuggin' bike becvause ppl think you are going to give your chit away for cheap. I talked to Terry @ Mr. Turbo and he is a VERY cool person to talk with about his kits and I just may go that route and keep the bike. I mean I am hyped about the '08 ZX-14 but heck, with a turbo kit on ANY bike and makign 260 HP, who needs to keep upgrading?

Brent I would keep your bike if I were you.
"Its one of a kind". and I cant see you just giving it away. $7500 hell no
This time of year the price on bikes go way down.
Thats how I bought mine cheap last year.

I'm also interested in putting some more money into my bike to get it above the 200hp mark.
Come on Black Magic "lettuceknowsumpin".

Carpenders head and cam package is close to 2700 bucks and i'm sure it will make a lot more HP than a piped and p/c 08 zx14 .... I'm in the same boat as most of you guys .. While i would like a brand new zx14 my 06 is like brand new and without a single mark on it ... I hate to take a big hit on trade in for an 08 zx14 ... For that kind of money i can get a turbo or a head and cams or ? whatever ? ......I'm thinking turbo is by far the best bang for the buck but you lose that sleeper look of a built motor ...A turbo is the in your face don't mess with me mod !!! I can make up my mind on what to do .... Smokin...

Brent NO way would i give up my 06 for 5800 bucks like the one listed ....Hell it would kill me to give it away for 8000 !!! But the sad part is that is what people are doing just that ...

One could set back and wait a bit till someone crashes an 08 and buy it like i did my extra zx14 for 3500 bucks , pull the motor and install it in your 06 and bang you have a 08 with 06 body work ...Smokin..

Lots of places to get good headwork for less than $2700.
That carpenter package includes valve springs, ti retainers, and cams. a very nice package.
You could get a y2k head soon, Ace performance, Lee's performance,
4th generations, or cycle concepts to name a few probably have head packages for the zx14. Get the cams now or later depending on $$$.
If you can pull and install the head, you have many options.

I just talked to Mr. Bob Carpenter and he told me for $3100, you get the ported head, new valve springs and titanium retainers along with a modified ZX-12 cam tensioner.

Cajun, money talks man and that is why I started this topic to see what ppl thought I can ask for it. You got a number in mind?

Mr. Turbo also kinda helped me with my thinking of keeping the '06 and adding his kit BUT I wonder did Kaw so called fix the frame issues on the '08 along with the start up cam tensioner noise?

Decision, decisions, decisions.

My bike has stock cams. And that 8.52 was with a 1.33 sixty foot time the bike was at 68 inches at the time, but i can tell you the 06 responds very well to having the head done and milled also forgot to mention that i have the little muzzy adjustable timing sprocket with the compression bumped you have to pul timing to spray it... And i really woudnt expect anyone to pay 12.5k for my bike but that is kinda the point I dont really want to sell it.
