Ricky Gadson at the track right now !!! 9.28 @ 150
His first pass on his 08 zx14 9.32 @ 150 .... It is strapped ,lowered, air filter removed and running U4 fuel ....STOCK PIPES !!!!! NO P/C !!!!!
P/S Ricky said he is fighting a killer cross winds and still ran 150 MPH

BTW, what did Richard go on the '08 Busa in the same trim lowered, strapped and such?

Richards best pass on the 08 Busa was 9.32@150.95 in the best air anyone had ever seen at Atco... 9.28 was Rickys second pass in a bad cross wind ... more to come ..

This just in from Ricky Gadson ...
Ok guys
we just finish making our last run of the day.
As I told you before I am doing this so people have all the info they need to make an educated decision when they decide on their next purchase.
As it stands now, you have seen pass 1 and 2.
9.32 and 9.28 was as it came off the dyno with 184hp.
So that we are on an equal playing field with the Atco results of the Busa, I drained the VP U4 out and put 87 octane pump gas in it.
Here is the results.
9.31 @ 149.61 .
9.31 @ 149.61 on pump gas with stock pipes !! I'm getting a Silver 08 zx14 ASAP ...Smokin..

That's so close to the Busa it's all rider! which is great in my opion, two bad ass bikes take you pick.

Man o man look at the numbers !!! Ricky never went that fast on an 06 zx14 with the same mods .... And just think about this >>> He did it with the flys in place !!! The 08 zx14 is going to be one bad mother piped and tuned and add some wheel base and a good lite weight rider it is going to run 8.60s ....
I wounder when we are going to hear from Brock ?? I know he is getting a 08 zx14 soon or allready may have it .... Come on Brock get going !!!!!!

I just got back from another ride on my new 08 - now with 204 miles - this confirms that it is not my imagination that this one is as fast as it feels, especially at lower revs

Rickey confirmed what I wanted to know about the dyno charts:
Just to make sure we are clear, the bike was uncrated Friday, dynoed with and without filter on Friday.

Smokin', I bet it will go 8.50's and past the .60's. Heck you've been 8.70's with your '06 so why you think just a tenth quicker?

Rickey went a 9.36 @147mph on his 2006 in the same form. (5 hundredths and 2mph)

That old post stated 47 passes ...I wonder if he would have gone faster if he would have gotten more than 3 runs ??
