stripped motor today

hi
pulled the motor apart today . to have the crank balanced and knife edged, fit j&e high compression pistons, port the head , and fit cams and spring kit from carpenter racing
on tear down inlet cam was at 103 degrees and ex at 105 degrees lobe centre
measured compression at 12.6-1 and squish was 33 thou so kawasaki running that as tight as need be
at 6.000 miles little bit of shinning on the thrust face of a couple of the big end shells , might replace a couple but otherwise everything looking ok
art

thanks for the good info. let us know how much you pick up when you're done. I'm thinking about doing something similar.
