Keep your nice new bike Brent, and spend the same $$ on some performance parts, instead of the cost of trading up.
You'll be much further ahead...

No wonder that thing always looks pristine...
Mine has 11,000 miles on her!
I am waiting to see how my Business contracts pan out in January.
If everything thing turns out as I anticipate with my Company for 2008, then a ported head, valve springs, 4mm crank and a turbo will be in order!
the rest will all be moot!

dubious, man I am a systems desing engineer for the U.S. Dept of State and travel alot during the riding season. I just got back from Rome, Naples and Dublin and then worked in NYC for a month so my rideing time is low. I am possibly just gonna get a turbo kit and go from there. I do like the original ebony black as is.

Stock wheel base baby! No extenders!
The above is not a misprint. 9.32@150.95 MPH. In the left lane was a brand new Busa with a 200+lb rider who purchased the same parts from me on Thursday night at the track after picking up his bike at a dealership earlier in the day.
Just in case you missed the details of what has been done to Chronic thus far:
1. Mirrors were removed
2. Ultra-Mod clutch kit was installed
3. Front end lowering kit was installed, and the front end was strapped
4. Rear lowering links were added (at the lowest position)
5. Alisyn <<0 fully synthetic motor oil was added
6. High Octane pump gas was put in the tank at Road America
AND NOTHING ELSE!

need same rider same day period.this debate will go on all year long in 08.there both very fast.have the same hp and weigh near the same with busa 10 to 13 pounds more by specs.does it matter if the zx14 wins or the busa.no one stays stock for long.

Steve we talked about this very thing at bike night didn't we .... You and me both have owned every brand bike and we don't care about brand names ... We have no hate for any bike ...But for some reason Busa guys hate kawi so bad they will do anything short of murder to show us hate ... It must really keep them up at night knowing Kawi is just as good as a zooky .. It's funny we get no Honda or Yamaha trolls hating on us .. Must just be a Busa owner thing ...

Kawi, Honda and Yami riders have no reason to be intimidated and so feel insecure. And the litre gixxer crowd doesn't either... but wow @ those 'busa boys huh!!!

lets see, you almost went as fast as john rockers gsxr1000 at the texas mile. and you're about 20 mph off of the fastest suzuk at texas. i'm sure one of them will want to line up.
