MCN 2008 busa quicker than zx14 !
MCN tested both of the bikes and as we told you before, the much talked about video of zx14 v 2008 busa proved to be just not a serious race because suzuki wins hands down!
0 to 100 mph, Suzuki = 5.45 sec, Kawa = 5.54 sec
1/4 mile, Suzuki = 10.21 sec, Kawa = 10.36 sec
Roll on acceleration = Suzuki quicker everywhere
So keep on hoping that the 2008 zx can do better still i think that it will not be enough
Now its 2 magazine tests against the zx14 and the hayabusa wins them both!

let me know when a real rag test it ...and no matters how much the busa wins you still gotta be seen riding one .....and there's no fixing ugly

the 08 will cover it easily...

MCN tested the ZX14 last year and set a string of records including a 10.185 sec standing quarter, kind of forgotten now.
While Kawasaki and Suzuki are trying to out-do each other we are getting better and better bikes. Don't forget a 2007 ZX-14 beats the 2007 Hayabusa and I predict the 2008 ZX-14 will beat the 2008 Hayabusa. Who wins? we do.

Why do you think that the Busa guys are not pushing the new Busa in our faces???...Because it's not as fast as they wished it was!!!
Kawasaki and Suzuki sure have our number now!!!...Every couple of years they will update with minor changes, then hyping those changes causing us to go out and buy it...Until we get it home and find that it's not what we thought it was
I guess we have to wait for 2009 to see what they do for the ZX14 and Busa

Hey Gstring pull the string out of your Busa butt and read this.... Richard Gadson ran 9.76 totaly stock 08 busa .....Ricky Gadson went 9.65 @ 148 on a stone stock 08 zx14 ... 06 07 08 zx14 WINNER !!!!

Probably cuz he had more recent seat time on the 14 -- been a while since he's ridden a Busa eh? He needs more practice on the Busa to beat the 14 LOL

hey gstring im not great at launching the bike yet n i went 9.92 the first time at the track on a completly stock 14 not lowered or straped

the magazine will post what they are paid to post. they not going to spend there own money to do accurate testing to provide to us. there rider only gett ing a complete .5 sec. of 200 lb riders on the same bikes go figure that. where they getting the riders? there should never be that much difference in a magazine test rider and some guys like Brock, on a stock bike. when the bikes get modded then the difference start showing.mod to mod egual. we kaw riders know the deal.

Richard's busa was actually strapped down up front and had the clutch mod, so not totally stock.
You're still correct though...ZX-14 WINNER!

That 08 Busa ain't all that....like I posted before, my buddy who weighs less (30-40) pounds just got one and we ran them earlier in the week and I beat that thing every time and that ain't "mag bragg" but REAL world comparo. Gstring, put the mag down and go practice because one thing is for certain, when your 08 Busa is running (if you own one), Richard won't be riding it for you playa!
