imho, the 14 doesn't need them. they were a must for me on the 12 though.

I love it, I could never go back to riding a 12....unless I got a really smokin deal on a highly modded '05 
I'm 6'2" and I actually installed them and sold them shortly thereafter. They also didn't fit with my damper...so they had to go. Seriously, they didn't make a substantial difference, but a you height, they might. Do you have them on your 12?

yes, with Pro Grip gels....made a big difference...
I ordered the Puig DB and gel grips today......
My tax return is ear marked "Brock" that will but the pipe, PC, and filter......Can't wait to pull the flies also, I'm not likely to have to many more riding days left we are getting to the time of the year I hate here in NY......
