"around a race track"

watching those two bikes go around a race track must've been like watching an elderly couple have sex

They were just playing around, you guys cant be serious!
look at the revs on the busa in the fifth and sixth he is clearly holding back compared to the solo run, and being the camera bike he had to keep the zx in the picture.

08 Busa is faster than the 06-07 ZX, we all know that. Now, we'll have to wait and see what the 08 ZX does...my guess; the Busa is still quicker. Still love my 14 though and won't be buying the Busa anytime soon.

Well, my buddy and I went at it yesterday from a punch and heads up drag race-08 Busa (him) vs 07zx14 (me). That Busa is damn fast but let's just say I NEVER saw his AZZ 1 time! And before any Busa lovers say it, yes he can ride and I weigh 30-40 pounds more than him.

I was very close to buying an 08' ZX14 the other day and it looked like it had an oil leak where the two bolts on the right side toward the rear of the cylinder near where the counter balancer is...Little pool of oil...The wierd part is there were two 08's with oil in the same spot with a trail of oil that looked like it originated from the bolts with a small pool of oil sitting in the corner of the cases....Then looked at two concours and they had a light film right around the bolt but no pool of oil....Needless to say I was disappointed...I was wondering if it was just an oil spill from filing it up with oil but the oil film and trail that was around the bolts on 4 different bikes it appeared to be a leak.

Good piece of video. Did you notice that the 'Busa only picked up another 5mph after changing up to 6th and then didn't rev past an indicated 11,000? the speed limiter possibly. I'd like to see the same test with Speedo Healers fitted and I hope they repeat it with the 2008 Kawasaki.

I like the several comments, "the 08 Busa is faster but its all rider" WTF does that mean, does it mean the Busa is faster or does it mean the rider was better. Pick one or the other...

Rider backs off earlier on the straights on 14.

brakelight comes on whil;e Busa rev counter still pinned. Before that they both looked maxed out.

rest of the time though, the 14 looked to have way more oomph.

I agree and braking at Bruntingthorpe without the normal chequerboards or visual markers depends on the experience of the rider at that particular venue, it's wide open and featureless. It looks like the Suzuki rider had a wee bit more ability but I don't think the 'Busa had anything over the Kawasaki. Bring on the 2008 model.
