Alien Head exhaust installed ...

Got my Brocks Alien Head exhaust install today ... Man O man is this thing small and light weight ....Plus i got to toss the rear foot peg and drop some more unwanted weight !! To me it's NO louder that my Smeg but i haven't had it to 10,000 RPMs yet But i could drive this pipe on the street no problems ..

I will be testing at the track next week and let you guys know how this killer pipe does ..Here are a few pictures ...Sorry they are so dark....Smokin....

I asked and EJ said he didnt think you could have it coated cause the baffle was not removable and they coat the inside of the pipe, so without taking the baffle out there would be no way to get to the inside of the pipe, But hopefully Brock will get on here and let us know cause if you can get it ceramic coated I want one for sure

Dudes, I just got back from a quick jaunt on the freeway and local roads on my 14 with the Alien Head. Good gosh is this thing a beast! I downshifted and punched it in 2nd @ 65-70 on the speedo, I feel the back wheel spinning, but the front end comes up and stays where it's at for about a second and a half, then it slowly starts coming up higher as the rear wheel slowly regains grip. Had to put it down as cars were coming, but woooooooooohoooooooooooo!!!

Around town it's pretty loud with a lot of snap crackle and pops decelerating from 4k-3500k. At one point I was chuckling in my helmet because the exhaust just sounds so frikkin' bad ass and mean. If you keep your pace mellow, it's definitely tolerable. I'll keep the Gen3 carbon end can, but I don't think it'll ever get put back on. [shrugs] You never know. Good to have the option there, though. :P

My take on the Alien Head: Two thumbs up!

Some bitch cut me off when changing lanes erratically. I read her mind and knew she was going to do it, so I high beamed her and honked, but was glad to give her a couple redline blasts of the Alien as I split lanes and passed her on her left side. I hope she pissed on herself.

Cool Hawkman ... Lets see > you get 3 hp if you switched to the Smeg from your carbon can ... The alien head has 2 more hp over the Smeg ...So Hawkman you picked up 5 HP over your old set up ....I bet your butt dyno told you the same thing ....

Dude...definitely! On the freeway, I pulled a few freeway wheelies and it was just sick. I know there were some peeps thoroughly entertained. Some probably said to themselves, "what a stupid fuck".

will a backfire pop light the passenger on fire? or is it pointed out sufficiently? my current smeg is a flame thrower but the flame starts further back, not a problem. i do like the looks of the alien.

I normally keep my mouth under the principle of "
If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all"
but. I dont like it, its too short and goofy looking.
I like the regular street megaphone better.
And I like the Gen 3 style better than the megaphones.
But as I am sure people will say, if it aint your money...

Hence the name "Alien Head".

I dig the pipe. It's a brute and not for everyone, though...that's for sure!

My wheels were powdercoated and ceramic bearings installed. They're not 07 rims.

I think the passenger's foot would be ok. The pipe is underneath and points away from the bike at a slight angle. My bike will never see a passenger, so those footpegs are coming off!

Do you guys know if the extra 2 HP came from the shorter mid pipe or is it the muffler. I ask because before this kit came out, some of you saw my post on "made my SMEG shorter". It sits basically just like the alien kit but with the original muffler. Does anyone know where the 2 extra HP comes from? I don't want to buy the alien kit and possibly created my own a few months ago.

brock said the explanation is coming, don't know if it is the shape or the length that made the difference, but being a smeg lover i am interested in hearing it.

That pipe is one classy looking piece of plumbing. I have to wait until years end before I can get mine. I was going to go with the Smeg but smaller is better to me, I don't think that one will drag the pavement.
Hey Hawk; your fender chop job is super sanitary, I''ve been pondering if I should go that way or with the muzzy piece. After seeing yours I think I'll save the $50.
