I'm a bad rider on my 14 and I still smoke busa's at the track. When I get to where I can launch better, they won't have a chance in hell.

everyone is gettin worked up over a non thing; the 08 14 aint even a thing yet as the auto show was last monday.
japan plays us like organ grinder monkeys with the busa and zx's; gadson won about evry race lAST year on his 14; and that included a turbod busa. i gotta tell ya, there aint a dimes worth of difference between em.. i like em both and i live in a city with a greater metrpolitan area of about amillion 5; seen about 3 busas in the last year; seen about the same number of zx14's. see gobs of other sportbikes but not the big mothers.
i dont think im gonna be beat anytime soon goin to coffee in the mornings to watch ladies butts; i love coffee, butts, and my zx14. ( butts first  )

ya, as close as the bikes are we know which bike the ladies will like with the two parked side by side

Thats not true. gadson hasn't out run GOTAY yet. Sure his bike is turboed but with only 2 stages. No limitations on ricky's NITROUS zx14.

I dont care if the busa is faster I dont like them,everybody and their mother has one.Every time I see a busa it is either stretched to the next town and chromed out and has a big ass tire on the back.But the 14's are getting that way too,I guess it all it depends on where you live.

Even if the Busa isn't proven to be faster, it will always be faster to the poor ole' dicks like Dunkin Doorknob that own 'em -- and there a a whack of "Dunkin's" out there...

Still smells like Peppered Peregrine Wings to me, someone pass me the slaw. Soon it will be time to chow down on their "New" 08 bird!!! Only question us 14 owners have for you Busa Boys is do you want your wings regular or extra crispy. So Duncan, why don't you fly the coop and nest yourself back over with the birds of your feather. We are about tired of hearing your continued chirping!!!

I usaully don't chime into stuff like this.. But what happens when the 08 ZX14 comes out with more power than the Busa. Do you run back to Kawasaki.. Also not to be the typical rider, but I love going to Bike events and only seeing maybe 1 or 2 of my bikes and also watching the Busa guys silently nodd with respect.
With the numbers being so close in HP/TQ it's all going to come down to the riders wieght and skill. I'm 6'6" 320lbs and I have beat so called jetted and re-mapped busa riders..
But hey only time will tell..

06 flies out ....brocks pipe...power commander with race tune.geared 16/43. lowered with 6 inch over. walks my friends stock zx 1400 with out trying. walks away from another friends 06 busa geared with yosh pipe and power commander like nobodys fool. do I worry about the 08 busa . somebodys always got more money to spend on their bike and it will be faster. the new busa will be a great bike and zuc will sell them like hot cakes . I learned a long time ago if you want a faster bike go buy one. its fun spending alot of money on bikes as a hobby but for every thing you do to it is a trade off for something else. build a monster motor .....expect it to over heat......big cams ...dont expect it to idle under 70 mph.......geared like a sling shot..it eats tires and wont roll over a bump without blasting off into the sunset if you give it a hair to much gas. loud is fun but ever ride 900 miles days with a loud pipe...whats that I cant hear you. enjoy each bike for what it is. if you drag race build the sucker big and strong but dont go by a church on sunday morning with it full tilt in a 30 mph zone. people tend to get mad at that and it gives the sport a bad name. any bike will put air in my face and thats all I ask for.some of the most fun can be had on small bikes. the most fun I have pulling up to some kid on a hot bike and look like I wanna race him.when the light turn green I watch him roar ahead as i give it the gas to 30mph.....works great on busa too. after all its only fun

No matter what, the real winners are the Manufacturers.
They are making 100's of millions of Dollars off of each one of us spending thousands of dollars trying to prove who has the better bike, or the biggest nuts.
My Point Is, Ride the bikes and stop trippin.
