same Rotella T 5W-40 - $16.95 wally world search motor head Moe on the internet tell you all you want to know about this oil . Dont waste you money on $12.95 a quart sg rated or jaso rated oils. The Rotella exceeds there requirments but has not been jaso tested. Stay away from oil that have the energy conserving seal they contain moly and it might make your clutch slip. Theres a lot of debate on oils but all of my research i came to use Rotella syn from it seems most of the drag racers are using it in there engines and if its good enough for them its got to be good for the street.

Amsoil is really good oil also, But sometimes hard to get and when its available its $12.95 a quart or so. The Rotella has a comparable shear ability and is better in some areas so its hard to justify the cost. But if you dont mind a fifty dollar oil change use the Amsoil. But you wont find it in a 5W-40 viscosity rating either. I used Amsoil for years and liked it very much but my 14 sounds smoother with the Rotella and i like the 5W for colder weather starting here in the Pacific Northwest.

I've never done a comparison, then again, I've never had a need to switch from AMSOIL. I order a case at a time, been using it in bikes since the early 90's.

I use MOTUL in the track bike, buying it cases at a time (when cycle gear has fluids 25% off). I may switch to Rotella for that bike too

I use the Motul 5100 Synthetic Blend 10-40. Love it. I thought about trying the full synthetic version of Motul but I have heard too many stories of clutches slipping on full synthetic oils.

Why not. My bike is lubricated with the wetness of Hooter girls and the blood of my enemies anyway.

np slippage issues here. if motul makes the kawi oil i;m sure its good, most of the oem oils are ok. i have heard good things about rotella, amsoil, motul, alyson, red line synthetics, pick any of them and you won't go wrong.
oh yea go get some pilot powers too
