wd-40 is the best but only if you want to do it every other day.
i like the motul, but believe it or not i've been hearing alot of good stuff about the harley brand. may try it next, just to see what happens.

WD-40 being a pentrating lubricant/solvent it will get around the rings in your chain and disolve the grease that is in there. Before long you will be running a dry chain.
Chain wax is the way to go IMO.

Yeah, many people that never experienced with WD will say that. I think the chains with 20,000+ miles practically can speak for themselves.
Also,.....it even SAYS it's for lubing "CHAINS" on the can! Best all around shit there is. Hell put it on a cut and it'll heal over night practically.

Never heard of anyone using wd-40, Putting it on everyday would be a pain in the ass. Does wd-40 make a on board injector kit lol. I think i will try the bel-ray wax.

Nick - I was an automotive mechanic by trade so I think I am experienced with WD-40 and what it can or cannot do.
20K maybe, but how many times have you had to adjust he chain for stretch over that period.
Jeff, whatever works best for you is the chain lube of choice.

No matter what lube you use, lube your chain when you GET BACK FROM RIDING, not before. That way your chain is warm and the lube can soak in and let the solvent evaporate..

WD40 is nothing more than Kerosene/jet fuel. Its a solvent, and nothing more. Its great if you wanna clean your chain, but I use Honda Chain wax on mine.

When I'm done riding my bike for the day it's always on stands. Wake up next morning and soak a paper towel in WD-40 and spin the wheel while rubbing the soaked rag on the chain. Takes ummm...15-20seconds I think everyone will tell you. You're right..20seconds is WAY too long. lol
I know MORE that use WD than shitty, thick, horsepower robbing, dirt collecting, chain lube. I don't care who is a mechanic, doesn't mean you know what works. Until you HAVE experience with it on your own bike chain...you can't REALLY speak about it. You just know what your opinion is. That is all.
