serious issues with a 2006

my partner has a 2006 that he has had for over a year now.

We installed a powercommander and full system. Worked great for awhile, and then started spitting fuel hardcore.

Removed the PC and installed another PC with new plugs. Again, it worked great for about two weeks and then started the same shit again. Dumping fuel, lots of it. Worked for about

The first PC was tested good when returned to dynojet. After we removed the second PC, we put new plugs in and it ran just fine....for about a week. again, spitting fuel.

I'm lost, plan on taking his bike to dealership this week. Any thoughts?

Did you have the bike dynoed with a sniffer to make sure the map your running is correct?

no dyno time. We're just trying to plug this thing and get it to work. We plugged in a map for his exhaust and it worked fine, but after a few rides, the bike starts spitting gas. I'm positive its not the pc because it no longer has a pc and has started this crap again. I talked to my partner who runs the service department...he says bring it in and we'll work on it under warranty. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the plug where you plug in the pc to the main harness, or maybe a pinched line???? It sucks, I'm tired of removing the plastics. LOL I feel for my partner, he just wants to ride the damn thing. its seriously to a point now where he's considering an '08.

just some random thoughts --does it foul all plugs or just one--all plugs--tank vent plugged? or maybe pressure regulator fubar---check out fuel pressure

one plug fouled check injector for that plug

good luck! let us know how it turns out

I had one come into the shop last year with pretty much the same problem. Check your fuel psi . The fuel pressure senser in the fuel pump had gone bad on this one,an it blu black smoke/ loaded up and ran rough then it pumped raw fuel. Also change your oil/ filter. bill at cannon cycles...

Some have had trouble with the power commanders & its the ground is NOT grounded to a good place. Brock recommends going to the battery.

Its no longer an issue for the powercommander because its not on the bike anymore. Also, it was fouling all plugs about the same. I'll let you know when I find out.

That happen to me back in 2001 on my 2000 ZX12...Removed the PC and never installed one again...I sold the 2000 and now have a 2002 ZX12, it never saw a PC...I have an Akrapovic on it with stock air filters using VP racing fuel mr9, yes without a PC using mr9 since 2003, still no problems and getting 150-153mph from it in the 1/4 mile...

The 14 does not need a PC either, so dont waste your $$$...

Mine did that a couple weeks ago.
I did so much shit to the bike I didn't know where to start.
Muzzy digikill ties into the PC main harness connections, 3 way switching on the starter/ kill wiring system, launch master, Shift light etc etc....
Checked my launch master harness, and the pc ground, and the pc wiring harness connections.
Funny thing was the Dynojet LCD display was not working properly, the rpm would freeze, whereas my shiftlight rpm was good with the factory tach.
I checked the Dynojet hub connection, and PC connection, the spark plug coil harness etc.
It went away after the bike cooled down, and never did it again.
The 2 left cylinders had raw fuel spewing out the slip fit spiggots on my pipe.
I only ran it it on 2 cylinders for 1/8 mile for a safe place to pull over.
First time I have ever had to wrench my bikes on the road side , I was really pissed.

Problem never came back.
Definately was a spark problem, as it was only 2 cylinders.
I changed the oil immediately and checked the plugs.... they looked good....

regulator/pump was replaced under warranty, #4 injector still continues to spit lots of fuel.

Damn good thing Mike has an extended warranty.
