Did anyone notice that the upper and side fairings look like a one piece unit, or is it just my bad eyes. Except for the small V-shaped piece. Gonna be some chump change if it goes down. No quick side panel from EBAY.

it looks like the space between the front fender and the air intake is not enough when you brake full power.. look at the distance the front fork can make..

I hear ya ZX12adam,

I guess what I was trying to get across is the average Joe won't be seriously at the track.

Sad but true. As long as these bikes were designed for the track 1st then I'm happy. Screw Joe Public and their image is everything mantra, they have plenty of bikes to choose from.

Looks?

Looks does a great job of seperating the posers from the riders.
Fortunately for riders, obviously Honda and Kawi the manufacturers aren't designing with much emphasis on looks.

LOL
No mattter how good a fat / ugly chick is in bed, she's still hard to luv....
By Steve's definition I'm part poser / part rider I guess....

I learned a while ago the most beautiful ones are usually not the best in bed, have snatchy throttle response even if they do handle nice.....

Yup, I like low maintenance, good ergonomics, great throttle response and drivability , durability, reliability and it MUST be appealing.....
Oh I forgot flickability too, I like the ones who handle positional transitions well!

Not HOT, but appealing......

It will be interesting what the various rags come up with in their 1 liter shoot outs.
I can live with the looks as most of the offending items will be be R&R. Sure looks easy to go from street legal to track day ready!!!
As far as Gentlemens bet;
I dont think Honda will catch this unit or the 07 gsxr. Except maybe in Cycle World.
And I dont think it matters as all three will be very close in preformance and ride. And the fast guys will still blow Me of the track on their 600's no matter how fast it is!!!!
I just need to find a new home for the 14 so I can get one !!!!!
OR........., sigh, a 05 to 07 gxsr

You should put them on your car! lol You dont evenhave a use for them yet! lol

Reminds me of a friend who bought every concievable upgrade for his "dream bike" a '04 636. Had $5000 plus in parts for a bike he didnt even have yet! He finally got it, and lowsided at Pacific Raceways during his track school.... My other friends bought all that cool stuff that wasnt installed yet off him for pennies on the dollar. hehe
