I like it and will be getting one either in Team Green or Black. I had planned on getting a 6 but everyone keeps saying a 6 is gutless. I still have til the turn of the new year before i buy.

I do want to compare the new 10 with the gxr 1k and the yami 1k, dont think honda has a contender for 08 but could be wrong. Also, to dog on the track isnt always top gun on the street ...

ah The ugly bastid is kinda growing on me with every photo chop. Truth be told I didn't like the looks of my 05 when I first got it either. I purchased it because it goes like stink, BUT now I love it's looks. I'm sure I'll love this one too.

LOL, it's that Akrapovic exhaust photochop that won you over huh? I know how you loooooooooove the Akra.

Not really that, but it did help and I never leave a stock exhaust anyway. The thing I dislike the most is the front profile shot actually. I think Kawasaki should have made the lens more flush and a lot less bubbled. It gives the bike a bug eye look.

Looks does a great job of seperating the posers from the riders.
Fortunately for riders, obviously Honda and Kawi the manufacturers aren't designing with much emphasis on looks.

Steve , I'd like to know where you heard that?
I heard the CBR1K is gonna place in last among the big 5 again. Honda has to catch Kawi, not the other way around. Kawi has really been setting the bar in the litre class. Shit if it weren't for Kawi,suzuki wouldn't have had to change their GSXR1K since 2004. LOL!
Don't be a hater, It's almost as bad as the guy that buys his litre bike cuz it comes in a color that the better performing bike doesnt.

Well Stevie......Not every one is out to be the great road racers you are. No poser by any means. May not run around a track like you or go in a straight line like Smokin but for the average person on the street..........I'll bet I'm right in the middle to high end as the get.
Now You Right if you talking strictly track performance............But might I ask you this question. How many people who buy anyone of these bikes will ever take them to the track in a serious amatuer-professinal status? I miss my Zx9R Looks, power, decent handling, and comfortable enough to ride for Hours on hand. 06-07 zx10 though I love it and yes it looks good will break your wrist after about 2 1/2 hours.
No offense but not all who wants a good looking bike are POSERS.

zx1kr <--my dealer and several message boards said it gained a few. Sure they could be all wrong. And I'm not into brand loyalty regarding Honda, many suspected the redesign will be just like the 600RR last year went it went from bottom to top of class.
I'm all about show me the numbers, I don't care which brand. Maybe Kawi will be top of class in world superbike, we'll see soon and who knows, I may have one in the garage. But I'm not betting on 'em

And last I checked these sportbike things were designed for the track. Harleys are the ones for image.

I hear ya ZX12adam,
I guess what I was trying to get across is the average Joe won't be seriously at the track. Yet I want to take me a few track day road racing and Drag racing classes. Time will tell. Anybody want to loan me some moneyfor those?

I never heard of the "oh my bike looks better than your bike" and "this bike looks better than that bike" until I saw these threads, thats why I act so shocked about it. I'd expect to hear such chatter at the Sonic parking.
