The blacked-out rearsets.
Dislikes:
Tail section, too high.
Nose, too low.
Upper, too angular.
Lower, too angular and not enough of it.
Muffler, bell bottoms went out a long time ago.
Front turn signals are in the worst possible place ever. Why can't they just do like Suzuki and copy Honda and put them IN the mirror. The stalks went from slim to bulky.

I like the green tape on the rims! I suspect the '08 CBR1000RR is goingg to slaughter this bike on the race track.

Hell i love the way it looks .......Looks like you can just unbolt the turn signals ...And who keeps the stock pipe anyway .....One thing for sure it looks 100% better than that 1000 honda ..I'm betting it makes more HP that the hondukey.... lol..

I like what I have seen so far. I think it would look awesome when it is stripped down for a track day. Oh and change the can. I like the high ass and low front styling. That is the "road racer stance".

OK gentlemen's bets on the ZX10 vs. Honda regarding performance....
whoa wait if we're only talkin' "peak HP"....uhm nevermind I'll save that silly debate for the gixxer type crowd, but I say the Honda will be lighter/more nimble/shorter wheelbase, faster braking, more torque, and slaughter the ZX10 on these litre bike's playing field (the race track) :P

I can't understand people complaining about the exhaust on almost any bike. The first mod most people make is the exhaust so who cares what the stocker looks like. Honda tried with the RC-51 to put a really cheap exhaust on the bike with that thought in mind. Why pay for a fancy pants Ti / carbon exhaust that you are going to bin anyways. And then everyone said cool bike but what's with the crappy pipe. You can't win.
As with most new designs, give it a month or two to get used to it. You may be surprised.
As for the mirrors, yea not the best design from either an aesthetic or aerodynamic point of view. But a screwdriver and an after-market set will right things no fuss.

Problem with the mirrors is I don't ever change them out. Aftermarket units suck as you're staring at vibrating ebows.

The don't put aftermarket mirrors on. Get a set from an older ZX-10 or whatever bike you think has good mirrors. It's not rocket science to make them fit.

Yes, you & I already have a gentlemens bet on the Better bike. Not just peak HP(We already know Kawi has got that won lol!) But the best bike overall.

As far as peak hp and wet weight(with full tank) we should just figure the power-to-weight ratio and call it a day.
Then overlay the power curves(from the same dyno back-to-back), bottom to mid-range torque is the street engine winner. Midrange to peak hp + over rev is the track engine winner.
As far as handling not much we can do, read all the mag/internet comparos, gather their thoughts and lap times.
Price shouldn't be much an issure if their MSRP is within $500 of each other.
Comfort is opinion based and veries from rider to rider, shouldn't be taken into consideration anyways as they are track weapons.
Reliability. If a manufacturer issues a recall on engine/tranny problems it loses everything by default. No sense in that.

Looks good after a couple days. Exhaust and rear plate holder have to go of course. Looks MotoGPish.

This thing looks awesome. I personall don't care about the mirrors, signals, exhaust, or rear fender. All are items that will be discarded for racing, or easily replaced with aftermarket parts.

I'm betting it's NO lighter at all. About the only way to get these things much lighter is the extensive use of exotic materials EVERYWHERE Possible and I'm NOT seeing that here. YEA they could make it lighter but who would pay for it.
I would like to see a full on FRONT and REAR view.... I just pray someone close to me gets one soon my 05 is hungry.
