BEFORE AND AFTER @ THE 1/4 MILE!!!!
Hi everyone
Like some of you I have removed the flies and loving it!!!
I have a stock pipe with PC and proper mapping, the bike runs perfect. Now my question.
I weight about 225# with gear, my best run was 9.96 @ 142 MPH. with a few 10.0's for back-up, the bike is strapped.
What can I expect with the removal of the flies. Guessing I can launch at around 3500 rpm. Can my E.T. and 60' go down? What about my MPH????
Thanks

Taking the flys out will not make you faster BUT it will make it easier to launch ,but if it's easier to launch the faster you will go ... !!Flys out you will not have to slip the clutch as much and it will help with clutch wear ....Start at 3500 RPMs and if it bogs try a higher RPM .... Smokin..

agree with smokin you may see a VERY slight decrease 5n E.T 14st fr60 removing the flies but NOT MUCH it will definately make the bike easier to launch which in turn will make you faster
