I have one request from Kaw, can we start putting forged pistons in from the start. The cast pistons can not be the much more cost effective!

Or as my friend always says "a poser is someone who buys a head turning bike to brag and showoff and enjoys doing that more than they enjoy riding it", are you this person?

I always looked a poser as a person who does something because he sees others doing it and thinks it's cool and leaves it at that.
My friend thought it was cool that I had a bike, bought one bigger than my 600 at the time, and wrapped it around a tree 2 weeks later.....he had never been on a bike before......had only put 100 miles on the bike in that 2 weeks and just went to bike meets standing next to his bike. He felt so left out of the convo's I had with other riders about suspension set-up, corner speed, etc.....that is a poser IMHO.
I care how my bike looks to "me" and only "me". I couldn't care any less what people think about my bike....I bought it for "me". Not some hot chick, not some cool guy at the corner store, not for my friends....for "me".
I also bought the bikes I have for "my" comfort. Performance was the last thing on my list because as I stated....bikes are SO close in performance and already MUCH faster out of the box than any car us little people can afford. There is almost no point to mag race about them.....
Not to mention....my bikes have MILES on them....no one I ride with on a regular basis has even a fraction of the miles I put on my bikes....if I didn't take that 2 1/2 month break from riding my CBR would have 50k on it......the 14 already has 2k on it now, and it will start climbing continuously.
I have no comment on the 250 vs busa statement....
This is not an attack on you, but it just brought up thoughts about the dumbass harley rider at work that calls me a poser because I have sportbikes yet my 06 CBR and my 06 ninja 250 individually have more miles than his 03 fatboy.....

the 250 thing was a joke....its all about fun and wind in the face man.. enjoy your bike and your life...we have a choice to ride anything in this country we want and its called freedom...god bless america

Oh it's fast, I flip my Givi trunk open for more down force at top speed! LOL I guess we don't Bridge race here, outta my element, I thought Gandy was his local track and that was his best et on his bike, sounded about right to me.

Kaw will unleash a little more of what is already there. They have done this in the past with the Z-1, introduce it, let aftermarket refine it, increase it, as stock, for a few new model years, then up the CC's. After reading the above sounds like if you can't run with it, change the race. For an all round new king of speed and 1/4 mile champion in stock form this bike is awesome! The scary part is the aftermarket is just getting started!
