Start up rattle gone!!!!!!!
Hey guys, I just recently replaced my clutches and made a poll on here about what oil all you guys use. Well I took some of your advice and went with 15-50w Syn Mobil 1 and know the start up rattle is non existant!! I am pleased. Maybe the 10-40 was too thin or didn't stick to the bearings when the bike set for days, I dont no but it can set for a week and you can start it and no rattle! I just thought I would tell you guys maybe the same will work for you.

hmmm, kawi full syn 10w50 used here since day 1. Mine rattles at startup. First time I noticed was at the first oil change, in which I put the kawi full syn 10w50. I was told that the bike came with it in it.
I have here a case of Motul 5100 10w40 that I will do an oil change next week. I'll report back then!!
