1/8 mile update

Hey guys. I thought I'd posted up my fastest time last night at the track. It's been a while since I let yall know because my times weren't improving a whole lot. I ran a 6.75 @ 112mph with a 1.71 60ft. I think that's pretty respectable for me and I'm running stock wheelbase.

Good job!!! Don't get upset if you times don't fall real fast, drag racing a bike is one of the hardest things to master. Drag racing a bike is kind of like Golf , Fun as hell but hard as hell to master ... If it was easy we would all be Tiger Woods .....
Keep working on your 60 foot times because that is the key to low ETs ....If you drop just one tenth off your 1.71 to 1.61 you will pick up 2 tenths in the 1/8 and be running 6.55 ..Keep working on it and keep us posted ...Smokin...

Congrats. Practice makes a big difference. I ran a 6.80@106 on my FZ1 stock length with a 1.71 60' so you can tell by MPH that your bike will kill that ET with more seat time...

Yeah, I'm probably only half throttle in first and im not even taching it up. I short shift into second to keep from pullin the front wheel. I know its got more potential the way it sits right now.

Man your getting better! Thats what i averaged on mine with stock wheel base. I finally put extenions on this weekend and ran Fri night, i went a 6.57 at 112 mph with a 1.60 60ft. I left at almost 9k slipping the clutch slightly and it still bogged, man that Shinko hooks!!! I think i am gonna change the sprocket next! Maybe it wont bog then. But anyway good job, keep up the pratice!!
