Im thinking of getting some swingarm extensions for my 14, but only installing them for the track and removing them for street riding. I want to put a master link in my stock chain and my extended chain for quick removal and installation. Anybody on here doing that? Will the stock rear brake line have enough slack to make this wrok without having to change it out as well?

Your brake line will work....all you have to do is take the line off and face it backwards and it will give you alot more slack. If you get a small hunk of chain you can run 2 master links and be able to shorten and lengthen your chain as ya like. I personally dont like running 2 master links, but guys do it all the time with no problems.

A tip, buy the master links from Suzuki, at least here theirs were better than the ones Honda/Kaw sells, more robust......TB

I'd rather run a different chain, just to be safe.

After I do this, can I leave the line like that when I take the extensions off?

my EK chains run around 140-150 bucks depending on length. You won't need anything bigger than 120 links at the most. I use only EK's but there are alot of good chains out there. With 4 over you should just buy another chain. I run non o-ring chains but their alittle louder and require lube more often....but lighter than a o-ring chain.
