ran my first 1/4 mile event over the week end

So i had the chance to run my first 1/4 mile event which at first was a joke first pass was a 12 . look out ! , Now i weight about 290 with my gear on my bike is geared one down on the front stock pipes , pcIII , strapped down, The First day i would spin for the first 80 to hundred feet extremly poor traction and no VHT , The second day after talking to duboius for a good half hr on the phone and correcting a whole pile of things i was doing wrong i ran a 691 in the 1/8th and 10.98 in the 1/4 136 mph now that may not seem great but for me i felt like million bucks after that pretty sure i can do a little better with the current set up .i have a 43 t rear comming and new progresive springs ,and a pipe.

Cheers

Oh yeah, he's addicted! LOL
He's buyin all my personal parts inventory , and then some LOL !

Good work Peter!
Really happy for you ! Personal bests .... well are THE BEST!
I remember my first MX race till this day. I was stoked and hooked!

Those are good numbers for a guy your size, stock bike except for flies out mapped and 16 tooth, and....1st weekend in the 1/4.

Alot of people fail to realise how poor track prep is in Canada for the most part.

What was the elevation?
How was the clutch, did you end up running 3 of the 5 heavy springs?

Congrats.

The elevation is 2100 ft and i didnt run any of the springs at this point I not knowing slammed all 5 in the pressure plate would not move the hoses bulged so i phoned ryan he said at best run 3 but recomemded only 2 so i put 2 in and the basket was not openning equally so i slammed the stockes back in . I need MORE POWER lol since for those of you who like to slam the get on a tread mill thing isnt going to make a difference .
AND OH YA i am HOOKED
