Me vs. Busa= Fist Fight!!
Hey guys, well let me just start out at the begining. About a week ago I was confronted by a fellow rider and was told that his dad's 07 Busa was gonna be putting down 315 hp to the wheel and there is no bike that can touch it. So I said I would like to run him and there is no way he made 315 with just bolt ons, and so it happend Sat night. His bike is an 07 busa thats extended 9 inches, Shinko ultra soft, PC3, Tuned by Stedman Motorsports in Moulton, and full exhaust and air shifter. My bike is and 07 ZX14 with basically the same mods and a brocks strap kit minus the extensions, and was tuned by a different shop. Well needless to say he redlighted and I still beat him by 5 bike lengths and half a second. Well here is the kicker, I am a 260 lb guy and proly a little more in leathers, this guys dad is proly 310 or more. Which obviously he is gonna say that i have an advantage, which i would agree, but my bike is not extended(just lowered) so I figured its a fair race. Well i won and he started talking shit and said he would bet 2,000 that his bike with a 160lb rider would beat me, so I blew up and told him that i only run the owner and thats it!! Then the cusswords started flying, next thing I know people are gathering around like a fight is about to break(which it probly was if I had controled myself). The reason i wrote this is to comment on all suzuki riders in this area. All of them think that the busa is the fastest thing ever and nothing can beat it. Well I think I proved a point tonight and now my goal is to beat that 160lb rider on his own 210hp busa! And it will happen.

There is no way his Busa is 210 hp unless you left out some of the mods he has, either a NOS or big bore kit. And I would not bet much money on beating a 160 pound rider heads up, if he knows how to ride your toast. Just for an example I put a 165 pound rider on my bike one night and he had a tenth worse 60 ft then me but ran three tenths quicker then i did and 5 mph more and I'm 216 pounds.

thats right, long time ago i raced a friend of mine (me 225,vs shop owners son 150) in a controlled roll-on and he just pulled me barely, i knew my suzuki 1100 would out run the honda shop interceptor 1000 with riders of similar weight, so i turned the bike over to my skinny buddy vince (160) and repeated the roll ons, the suzuki pulled the honda in excess of 10 bikelengths
weight makes a difference, and i am glad you spanked busa ass, if he gets a jocky you get a better one, like smokin.....

Congrats on your race win. Sounds like he wanted to race you and he lost. If he wants to put a lightweight rider on board then you do the same................fair is fair. You guys raced and now he is making excuses..................nothing worse than a sore loser.

315 hp? LOL ....I'd LOVE to see that dyno sheeeeet. What a putz.
Just think, the '08 busa will have 415 hp to the tire....what fools.
FWIW, I had a friend of mine race my 14...he's lighter and much more experienced than
I am. He was haulin' ass compared to me.(still no times where I live...supossedly they have ordered a new set of timing lights???)

I heard rumor after rumor of how fast this bike is gonna be, and its had over $6,000 spent on it.Now that I won, its gonna be a weekend war every Sat. I think I am gonna go on a diet! lol! And get the credit cards out.

The 210hp busa I have seen on the dyno. It has a ported head and cams and few other things. This is the guy that was gonna race me on the big guys bike. He can ride pretty good but I think with a few more boltons and nitrous I hoped to not worry about it. After all the fastest i have seen him go is 5.8's on motor. I am gonna try!

that busa stock is low 16o's high 158 hp range, if he didn't do real work, he lost hp when he extended 9 in, 310lb's.. he want win many races..

Hey man, I am 132 lbs. Tell him to get a 160lbs rider and let's do it. As a matter of fact, Just I'll ride mine. Stretched but no airshifter and will beat the breaks off him. And I'll Unhook my bottle so he'll know it is even. Now what;s the problem?

Not to stereotype but it is the Busa way of thinking. I used do have no problem beating up on Busa's with my 12 much less this 14. No matter how fast the bike is you have to be able to ride it. I was watching an episode of Test and Tune on Speed and they had a dude on a turbo Busa who really thought he was fast and went like 9.70's. I had to laugh. I told my wife it was so typical, all show and no go.

if you were fighting or even arguing with a guy claiming 315 rwhp on anything but a turbo busa...well you both are retards. Win, lose or draw is based purely on the riders now days.

yeah i saw that one.. i guessed a 9.50 since he raced it twice a week.. he ran a 10.70...

I have more problems with liter bikesand good 600 riders at track days then any Busa rider. Havent met a rider on a Busa that can actually RIDE!!!
And I'm a Old Slow Intermediate rider!!!

I'm picking up a 97 600 all tracked out with fresh Ohlins legs and motor ( by Jake Holdens old wrench) for 3 G's.
Couldnt fix the ZX for that if/when I dropped it.
